These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of brain-detox (the "App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Scope

These Terms apply to all versions of the App and to all platforms (iOS / Android).

2. Purpose of the Service

The App is an entertainment / lifestyle application designed to support recovery from short-video addiction (commonly known as "brain rot").

2-1. Not Medical Advice

The App is not a medical institution. The information, action suggestions, and score displays provided do not constitute medical diagnosis, treatment, or advice. If you experience addiction-related issues or other mental or physical symptoms, please consult a qualified professional such as a physician or licensed counselor.

2-2. No Warranty of Effectiveness

We make no guarantee that continued use of the App will improve addiction, brain function, or produce any specific outcome.

3. User Responsibilities

3-1. At Your Own Risk

You use the App at your own risk.

3-2. Prohibited Conduct

The operator may restrict or block your access without prior notice in case of violations.

3-3. No Self-Harm or Harm to Others

Action suggestions are designed with your health and safety as the top priority, but inappropriate content may rarely appear due to AI generation. Never execute any suggestion that could harm you or anyone else, and report it to the operator.

4. Intellectual Property

4-1. Rights to the App

The App's source code, design, icons, illustrations, text, logos, and all other content are owned by the operator or rightful holders. Portions released under the MIT License may be used in accordance with that license.

4-2. AI-Generated Content

AI-generated content may be freely used for personal purposes. For commercial use, you must also comply with OpenAI's terms.

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services such as Firebase (Google LLC), OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C.), and Expo (Expo, Inc.). Their respective terms and privacy policies apply.

6. Fees and Subscriptions

The current version of the App is provided completely free of charge. If paid features are added in the future, your explicit consent will be obtained separately.

7. Disclaimers

7-1. Service Interruption

The operator may suspend, modify, or terminate all or part of the App without prior notice in cases including system maintenance, force majeure, outage of third-party services, etc.

7-2. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App.

7-3. Disclaimer for AI Output

We make no warranty as to the accuracy, appropriateness, or safety of content generated via OpenAI. If output seems strange or problematic, do not act on it and please report it.

Collection, use, and storage of data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

The operator may revise these Terms as necessary. Material changes will be announced via in-app notification or app update notes.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court for the first instance. For consumer users, the courts located in the user's place of residence shall also have jurisdiction by agreement.

12. Severability

If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

13. Contact

These Terms are provided in Japanese, English, and Thai. In case of any discrepancy, the Japanese version prevails.
